Mendip Tag to Twickenham tag rugby finals
Congratulations to Hugh Sexey Middle School's tag rugby team, who won the Mendip area Tag to Twickenham finals just before the Easter holiday.
They will now be progressing to the County Final in May, and we wish them the best of luck!
"The 3 teams that entered included: Hugh Sexey, Catcott School and Stoberry Park. All three teams competed really well with try's and excellent rugby skills coming through. Hugh Sexey ran out winners having won all 3 of their games. One of the schools also competed having only a couple of Rugby lessons behind them. The weather was excellent as was the attitude of all the players on the day. Many thanks to Robin Evans who facilitated and helped run the event on the day."
